Abstract: The collection of all simple closed geodesics on a (closed, finite area, finite type) hyperbolic surface is an important object of study. Lengths of these geodesics have played very important role in Teichmuller theory. The main focus of this talk would be the set of angles of intersection between pairs of simple closed geodesics.
