Abstract: We will talk about the Langlands-Shahidi method over function fields, in general. Then, we specialize to the classical groups and refine previous results on the image of functoriality for globally generic representations. Combining our results with the work of L. Lafforgue for $GL(n)$, we prove the Ramanujan Conjecture for the classical groups over function fields.
