Abstract: To illustrate some of the complicated phenomena that needs to be addressed in the final chapter of his difficult work ?On the functional equations satisfied by Eisenstein series,? Langlands included an explicit calculation for G_2. This computation is long and difficult. In this talk, we reexamine this computation of Langlands.
