Abstract: The moduli space of stable bundles on curves has been extensively studied. Notably, Jeffery--Kirwan calculated the intersection numbers on this moduli space in terms of iterated residues, first written down by Witten in the physics literature. However, only partial answers were known for the virtual intersection numbers on the Quot scheme of curves (due to Marian--Oprea). In this talk, I will present a formula computing all tautological virtual integrals on Quot schemes. I will show how this provides a new way to study the cohomology ring of the moduli space of stable bundles. This is based on joint work with Alina Marian.
