General information
The selection process for admission to the PhD and Integrated PhD programs at the School of Mathematics, TIFR, Mumbai, consists of an entrance exam in two stages as given below. For more information about the selection process for admission to the programs at TIFR CAM, Bengaluru, and ICTS, Bengaluru, we refer you to the websites of those centers -- CAM and ICTS.
Selection process
Stage I of the selection process is a nationwide test conducted in various centres. Stage II of the selection process usually consists of a written test held at TIFR, Mumbai followed by an online interview of the candidates shortlisted on the basis of the two tests. The shortlisted candidates at every stage of the selection process will receive a formal intimation regarding the next stage.
