The selection process for admission in 2025 to the PhD and Integrated PhD programs at the School of Mathematics, TIFR, Mumbai, consists of an entrance exam in two stages as given below. Stage I of the selection process
Stage I of the selection process was a nation-wide test that was conducted in various centres on Sunday, December 08, 2024.
The score in this exam will serve as qualification marks for a student to progress to the next stage of the selection process, Stage II (and will also count towards the final selection after Stage II). The cut-off marks for the PhD and Integrated PhD programs will be determined separately.
Stage II of the selection process
The list of candidates who qualify for Stage II of the selection process (for TIFR, Mumbai), based on the nation-wide test conducted on December 08, 2024, will be put up at an appropriate link on this page.
The details about Stage II of the selection process will appear here at a later date. The final selection (for TIFR, Mumbai) will be based on the candidates' performance in both Stage I and Stage II of the selection process.
